The American people are angry. They are angry that they are being forced to live through the worst recession in our lifetimes — with sky-high unemployment, with millions of people losing their homes and their life savings. They are angry that they will not have a decent retirement, that they can’t afford to send their children to college, that they can’t afford health insurance and that, in some cases, they can’t even buy the food they need to adequately feed their families.

They are angry because they know that this recession was not caused by the middle class and working families of this country. It was not caused by the teachers, firefighters and police officers and their unions who are under attack all over the country. It was not caused by construction workers, factory workers, nurses or childcare workers.

This recession was caused by the greed, recklessness, and illegal behavior on Wall Street. And, what makes people furious is that Wall Street still has not learned its lessons. Continue reading →

Republicans keep calling every national program – Socialism. They had been told to blame Democrats for social security, Medicaid and Medicare – all popular programs that they use and need. The inconvenient truth is that the entire world economy, controlled by the elite [aka SWAMP], is a Financial Socialist Order. The new Democrat Elite Financial Socialism has caused this global destruction, destroyed the old parties, made it so clouded with infiltration you couldn’t tell the difference between left and right – and failed to let their own party folks know – the good ol’ days are gone for the hypocrites too.

Cut Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid and not raise taxes on the wealthy?

CALL CONGRESSWOMAN HIRONO AND TELL HER “NO”!
Why would we agree to cut Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid and not raise taxes on the wealthy? They’ve had tax cuts since Bush and has the economy gotten any better? It’s time for Real Change.

Last night, President Obama agreed to a deal with top Republicans that is widely seen as a big victory for the Tea Party.

It has trillions in spending cuts that will hurt poor and middle-class families and no taxes on the rich. It also lines up Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid benefits for future cuts.

Nancy Pelosi said “none of us may be able to support it” — but many Democrats are making up their minds in the next few hours.

Your Representative, Mazie Hirono, signed a letter pledging not to vote for any deal that cuts Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. Can you call her right now?
