E Komo Mai

E Komo Mai is “Welcome” in Hawaiian and said in the spirit of Aloha.

We are all converging together to unite for support and strength and there are millions of us across the country, in every nationality, culture, race and sex with identical problems.  We were all, one way or another, screwed by Wall Street. Some people call this a war of the classes.  Others identify this as bankster greed.  Whatever we call it – it is destroying families and the American Dream.

How did this happen?  Well, it wasn’t overnight.  The corruption has been penetrating legitimate business for years and the money has influenced lawmakers to make some very bad decisions.

From de-regulation to zero-regulation, the general public has lost control of the very core of its financial stability as well as it media that was once a  public trust created to keep the public informed.

There will always be scams, but as taxpayers we expect the government to protect us.  What we got in return for our vote is well said in the words of a Russian proverb,“[W]hen money speaks, the truth is silent.”

Well, our government failed us and now we are faced with a phenomenal debt that “we” did not cause.  Congress allowed Wall Street to gamble pension and retirement funds from nearly every state and union in the country and around the world and failed to regulate their game called “derivatives” – debt that was securitized.

Wall Street had a green light to leverage and gamble these derivatives to the tune of over $140 TRILLION – with a “T” – that has more zeros than the average calculator can display.

But what makes this so egregious is the ostrich attitude our lawmakers are taking by not coming clean and telling America that the debt is caused by the loss of pension and retirement funds of government workers, unions, corporate retirement beneficiaries. They are scrambling to find a way to make cuts and slash entitlements rather than face the American public with the truth.

Truth – we can handle the truth!  I think its time to post the lawsuits and the poor “investors” scammed out of their money along with the homeowners in these deals. If Washington, DC won’t tell you, we will.  So stay tuned – and learn the truth.

And share with us your stories so others won’t feel all alone.  We’re all in this together.  Aloha!

  1. Virginia (Ginny) you have kept me in informed, and very aware of the horrible mess the banks, government and certain political leaders have created and continued! I am more than aware that “we the people” didn’t create this sad shape of affairs. The banks are raping the American people, and we are allowing it, because the people haven’t stood up to the corruption!!! We need to contact our legislatures, as I have done, and will do again and again! I know all too well; that the banks are stealing homes, and breaking the back of this country, its people!
