I never liked that many of the states have closed primaries. There are more independent voters and those voters will never get to vote for the candidate of their choice in a state that is two party system. It was no surprise that Hillary won in NY. And she won more in lower Manhattan where Wall Street is located. Although Bernie did not win NY, he did well in NY. It is too bad that the independent voters did get to vote in the NY primary. And I am sure that this point on that the media will label Bernie as a contender and not a Presidential candidate and focus more on Clinton and Trump. The media from the beginning focused only on Clinton and Trump. And the DNC is certainly corrupted because their focus has been only on Clinton and not the rest of the Democratic Presidential candidates. Bernie will stay in this race and go all the way to Convention, win or lose because this Presidential race was not about Bernie Sanders. He is leading the path of other Democratic candidates that share his vision of a corrupted campaign system and income inequality in this country such as Zephyr Teachout (NY candidate for Congress and who ran against NY Governor Andrew Cuomo and it receiving money from Sanders), Tim Canova (running for Congress in Florida and it running against Debbie Wasserman Schultz and raised money from small donors like Sanders), John Fetterman (Pennsylvania mayor and who is running for the Senate, a Bernie supporter, and who raised his money online with small donors), etc. Rest assured, there will be negative press of Sanders and most likely urging him to throw in the towel and get his supporters to support Clinton for President which will not happen. Many of Sanders supporters will not vote for Hillary. And we simply don’t know how the independent voters or the voters that were disinfranchised voters that could not vote in their states will vote come November.
I don’t believe for a minute that suppression wasn’t pre-planned. In fact, there are likely similar issues in all essential states. The delegate process is rigged – Trump is 100% correct…and unless the people overwhelming unite and dump the current system – America will never have a People’s Choice President.
